Jackson Wayne Hocker

Jackson Wayne Hocker passed away on October 5, 2020. Born on March 30, 2019, he was the only son of Lucas and Megan Hocker. Jackson loved laughing, giving kisses, and bouncing and showed remarkable strength, resilience, and joy despite his medical challenges. He was loved immeasurably by his family and instantly charmed all who came to know him. In addition to his devoted parents, Jackson is survived by his grandparents Clayton and Allison Hocker and Wayne and Beth Lienau; aunts Casey Hocker, Abigail (David) Mello, and Amanda (Jason) Purnell; great-grandparents Gene and Sue Schaffner; cousins Greg (Shyane), Sierra, Samuel, and Andrew Mello and Will and Maya Purnell; and a host of other relatives and family friends.

A Memorial service will be held on Friday, October 9, 2020 at 5:30PM. The service will be located in the SouthEast corner of Forest Park near the Seven Pools.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Jackson’s memory to St. Louis Children’s Hospital or Ronald McDonald House.
