Michael Thaddeus Behrmann

Michael Thaddeus “Tad” Behrmann, aka Tad, aka Tippy, aka Taddy Touchdown, died at age 40 on May 30, 2020. Son of Kathleen and Stephan, Twin of Jonah Behrmann (Stephanie Miller), Brother of Caleb Behrmann (Maggie Beeson), Hannah Behrmann (Phillip Suda), and Abraham Behrmann (Megan Mead), Uncle of Genevieve Suda. Tad lived his life joyfully, willfully, loyally, fearlessly.

Growing up, Tad was 50% of the force of nature known as Tad and Jonah. Instigators and rabble rousers, the twins were inseparable. Not infrequently in conflict, but best friends without question, they maintained this connection throughout their lives.

If you were on his umpire or reffing crew, signed a petition, or sat in his section during a Cardinal’s game, you knew the tremendous, lifelong friendship of Tad. Tad was the notification on your phone, the knock at the door, the unexpected 45-minute long conversation on a sidewalk you left with aching sides because you laughed so hard. True of heart and generous, Tad was there for you when and where you needed him.

Tad was always halfway through a book with three more waiting for him at the library. Eager to share a new factoid or anecdote, Tad’s irresistible curiosity compelled you into conversations that left you wiser.

Tad will always remain near to us through each quip, wisecrack, and old chestnut. His patience, generosity, strength, and kindness are eternal. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Lindell Club: lindellclub.org/donate/

The Michael Thaddeus Behrmann visitation will be this Saturday, June 6th, 1 pm to 4 pm, in the Great Hall at Ambruster Chapel: 6633 Clayton Road, St. Louis, Missouri 63117.
