Holly C. DeBoard
Holly C. DeBoard passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 28th, 2023. Gorgeous wife to Philip, loving mother of Keegan and Zoe. Proceeded in death by her parents Jerry and Madeline Riehl. Awesome sister to Jerry Riehl, Jr. and sister-in-law to Melissa Riehl (Smith). Favorite aunt to Landon & Abby Riehl, Nathan & Joel DeBoard, and Peace, Josiah, Jubilee, Solomon, Reuben & Immanuel . Kick-ass cousin to Michele Brauch and many others.
Holly is known by her family and close friends as a fun-loving, family-oriented free spirit. She loved her family above everything else and considered her friends as family. Her bright smile could light up any room and her laugh was recognizable in a loud crowd. Some may not be aware of her medical issues. Although needing a pacemaker at 40 years old and dealing with multiple autoimmune disorders, she never let it get her down.
She received a degree from UMSL, and when her job was outsourced, she went back to school and received 2 more degrees in baking and culinary arts. Holly spent most of her time at festivals, concerts and wineries. She thoroughly enjoyed life and hosted an annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration in Dogtown. She spent her last full weekend at a concert on Friday, Halloween party on Saturday and patio lunch with family on Sunday. She will be dearly missed.
All are welcome as we celebrate Holly’s incredible life on Saturday, November 4, 2023, between 5-9 pm, in a relaxed and informal setting at Ambruster Chapel (6633 Clayton Rd, Clayton, MO 63117). Food and beverages will be provided.
