Bruce W. Halliday
Bruce W. Halliday born in St. Louis, Missouri, on July 9, 1944. Bruce was educated at Southern Methodist University, Dallas, and received his master’s degree in finance from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
He had a long and distinguished career at Fontbonne University as professor of finance. Bruce was married for 50 years to his beloved wife, Laura and he is also survived by sisters Jean Robertson and Laurie Livingston. Bruce will be missed by brothers in law, Richard Robertson and Scott Livingston and his nieces and nephews.
Educator, world traveler, art connoisseur, philosopher and animal lover, especially of cats.
Bruce will be missed for his wit, generosity, and provocative intellect. Wife, family and his much loved cats were the center of Bruce’s world.
Services: A Memorial gathering will be held in the Great Hall of Ambruster Chapel (6633 Clayton Road, 63117) on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, from 5pm until 8 pm. Masks required. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an Animal Rescue or Shelter of your choice.
