Charles Edwards, Jr.

Charles Laroy Edwards, Jr. (AKA Charlie Wop), unexpectedly passed on Sunday, October 2, 2022. He was born August 1991 to Yolanda M. Cooper and Charles L. Edwards, Sr., in St. Louis, MO. Charles was preceded in death by his Stepfather Robert Ramey, Maternal Grandmother Mary J. Cooper, Paternal Aunt Venetta Mimes, Paternal Grandmother Diane Edwards, Paternal Great Grandmother Thelma Jones, Step-Paternal Grandparents: Marsha and Robert Ramey, Arthur Thomas; Step-Paternal Aunts and Uncles Cedric and Cecelia Maclin, Cousin Charles Jackson, Aunt Crystal Ramey, and Uncle Micheal Edwards.

Charles was educated through the St. Louis Public School system, where he met some of his closest friends. Throughout his teenage years and adult life he held many jobs, with FedEx being his most recent Employer.

Charles enjoyed music, dancing and was the life/laugh of the party. He loved spending time with his beautiful daughters Aiyanna and Octavia, family and friends.

Charles leaves to cherish his memory his significant other Amanda Jelks, his parents, Yolanda Ramey ( Kokomo, Indiana) and Charles ( Tammy) Edwards ( St. Louis, MO); his Daughters Aiyanna and Octavia, His sister Jessica and step-siblings Alexandria, LaShonda, Madonna, Tiyana, Nkayla, Nichelle, Sheronda and Kevin; his niece Paitynn and nephew Jusiah; his Uncles: Maurice, Micheal, Dion and Aunt Antionetta; his Step-Grandmother Denice Thomas; his special close dear cousins: Renee, Ashley, Krissy, Traniece, Steven, Kyle, Nicky, and Tramond and many more Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends - too numerous to name here.

Services: a Funeral Service will be held in the Great Hall of Ambruster Chapel on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at 12 pm, with Visitation beginning at 11 am. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery 5200 Lucas & Hunt Rd. St Louis MO 63121 at 2:15 pm.
